Xpeedic and NovaStar Announce Strategic Partnership for AI+EDA in LED Display Control System Design

DAC 2026, the world's largest EDA conference and exhibition, is being held this week in Long Beach, CA, with numerous updates across the industry centered on this year's "AI For EDA" theme. Xpeedic, joined by NovaStar, today announced a strategic partnership centered on bringing AI and EDA together for LED display control system design.

Founded in 2008, NovaStar is a leading global supplier of LED display control system solutions. Its display-control and video products have powered LED screens at the world's biggest events, including the last four FIFA World Cups — from Brazil 2014 through the 2026 tournament — as well as the Beijing 2008 and Rio 2016 Olympics, providing the reliable backend behind the high-quality broadcast visuals at each one.

 

What the Partnership Covers: AI-Driven Board-Level Design and Multi-Physics Co-Simulation

The partnership centers on AI-driven, board-level (PCB) design and multi-physics co-simulation for LED display-control products. It covers PCB design for core products across NovaStar's end-to-end video display-control lineup, along with high-speed signal integrity (SI) optimization, power integrity (PI) and power distribution network design, and board-level thermal simulation and cooling design. AI-driven, board-level multi-physics co-simulation will improve signal quality, power stability, and thermal reliability across NovaStar's products in demanding real-world applications.
