Spice Device Modeling Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for modeling various analog devices and digital control units in IC, as well as integrating device models from PDK to the Spice simulation engine.

2. Understand the characteristic curves and the physical significance of electrical parameters in device modeling, and be proficient in the steps and details of model parameter extraction.

3. Skilled in using modeling tools such as BsimProplus, MBP, ICCAP, MQA for model parameter extraction, and have relevant experience in using EDA tools like Hspice, Virtuso, Calibre for model simulation, layout drawing, and circuit verification.

4. Capable of independently developing Spice models for existing device model files, updating models according to new processes and physical effects, and adapting them for the Spice engine.

Job Requirements

1. A full-time Bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for graduates from 985/211 universities, and at least one year of relevant work experience.

2. Majors in Integrated Circuits, Microelectronics, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, and Information Engineering, etc. Candidates with a good foundation in VerilogA, semiconductor device physics, digital circuits, analog circuits, and circuit analysis will be given priority.

This position primarily involves work in the field of Electronic Design Automation (EDA), specifically related to device modeling and simulation with the Spice simulation engine. Candidates are expected to have in-depth professional knowledge and practical experience, as well as proficiency in related software tools.
