Genesis XLIB——Device Library Management
Overview
Xpeedic’s Genesis electronic system design platform includes XSCH, XPKG, XPCB , XLIB modules. Based on the concept of simulation-driven design, Genesis integrates Xpeedic’s simulation capabilities, assists the collaborative analysis of pre-middle-post-design stages, and advances the identification and resolution of multi-physics problems such as circuit, of the unified electromagnetic, power and thermal field to the early stage of design. It realizes the success solution of system design and simulation, and improves the efficiency of product research and development.
Genesis XLIB is used for the design and management of schematic logic symbols and various physical package libraries required in packaging substrate and PCB design. According to various electronic material specifications with PDF file format, users can create a library that meets the design electrical and manufacturing requirements through parameterization, interactive and automatic ways, which provides library file preparation for subsequent schematic, package and PCB designs. In addition, the library design has different default attribute settings such as height, price, package, and initial values to help generate the system design netlist and BOM list.
Key Features
Cross-platform schematic library migration: It supports existed cross-platform schematic project and symbol library batch import. XLIB enables the rapid migration of symbol library and one-click export of schematic library to other platforms.
Complete schematic symbol creation and attribute setting functions: It supports interactive creation of single-unit and multi-unit schematic symbols. It can sort and adjust the symbol pins and other interactive operations.
Templates or PDF-recognition based schematic library: It powers the rapid creation and editing of schematic Symbol library based on multi-class templates and PDF data manuals. XLIB help users quickly extract key information such as pin number, name and type, and improve the efficiency of schematic database creation.
Parameterized package library: By means of table text recognition in PDF documents, the parametrized library creation of typical multi-pin BGA and QFN package can be realized.
Flexible parametric creation and application of various pads: It supports parametric definition of multiple types of pads in conventional mode, such as through, surface mounted, round hole, square hole and so on. It also enables interactive creation of electrical or non-electrical packages, and intra-design editing/updating according to the application of the single type pads.
Cross-platform PCB package library migration: It supports package library migration of the existed cross-platform package design libraries through single or batch import mode, and one-click export to other platforms.
