XSBR——System-Level Scattering Analysis
Overview
XSBR is a 3D system-level scattering analysis software based on SBR algorithm, which is based on Xpeedic’s XEDS simulation platform. It is mainly used to simulate the electrical performance of the antenna in the application of electrically large structure (aircraft, automotive, ship, etc.), the scattering characteristics (RCS) of the free space target (metal material, dielectric coating material), and the far-field characteristics (direction pattern) of the reflector antenna.
Key Features
Efficient 3D modeling and easy editing: Support fast conventional line, surface and volume modeling, as well as model moving, rotation, mirroring, proportional scaling, copy, line surface, surface variation and other editing functions. Arrange operations (Move / Move + / Roate / Roate + / Mirror / Mirror +) and boolean operations (Unite / Subtract / Intersects / Imprint/ Split), Support any entity to hide, show, transparency edit and other operations.
Various material types and easy material property editing: Integrate the material library required by design and simulation. Support customized dielectric constant, conductivity and other material properties. Built-in more than 50 kinds of commonly used dielectric and metal materials.
Surface current distribution visualization.
Multiple post-processing capabilities: Based on the user's analysis settings, the simulation results can show the target scattering characteristics (RCS), the far-field characteristics (pattern) of electrically large antennas, etc.
Diverse settings for coating materials: Support the selection of a variety of coating materials and default settings. As default material in XSBR is PEC material, users can set the coating on the surface of metal materials. In addition, the coating materials support medium materials, PEC/PMC, lossy materials, etc. Support self-defined material thickness settings.
